The Naujamiesčio Karaim Cemetery is one of three active Karaim cemeteries in Lithuania, located near the Nevėžis River. The area is marked by old stones and stelae with Hebrew inscriptions, and nearby, there are also the old Jewish cemeteries. The cemetery is the final resting place of notable Karaim individuals, such as the poet Šelumielis Lopato and the translator Jokūbas Maleckas. The cemetery holds significant historical and cultural heritage, reflecting the presence and history of this community in Lithuania.
