In the village of Bernatoniai, Panevėžys District, you can discover an interesting industrial heritage site – fragments of a narrow-gauge railway bridge over the Nevėžis River. This single-span bridge is a regional technical monument, registered in the Cultural Heritage Register in 1996. Next to the bridge, remnants of an embankment remain, and 1.5 km to the south is the former Bernatoniai station. This is an excellent site for those interested in the history of Lithuania's railways and looking to explore lesser-known tourist attractions in the Panevėžys region.
