Nightingale Valley is a unique natural retreat in the Kaunas Lagoon Regional Park, closely tied to the origins of the legendary Poetry Spring festival. From 1965 for three decades, the valley echoed with the verses of Lithuania’s most renowned poets, serving as a beacon of creative freedom. Though the festival has since moved elsewhere, the valley retains its special spirit—turning golden in autumn and offering breathtaking views of the lagoon from its hills. It remains a serene place to unwind and immerse oneself in the lingering inspiration of creativity.
