The Memorial Site of the Battle of Saulė Victory in Jauniūnai, Joniškis District, is an important historical site commemorating the Lithuanian (Samogitian) victory over the Sword Brothers in 1236. The battle, described in the Livonian Chronicle, took place in this location, although the exact site is not specified. In 1987, the battlefield was listed as a historical monument, and in 2000, the Seimas declared the Baltic Unity Day. In 2022, construction work began on the memorial in Jauniūnai.
