Near the forestry office in Kintai stands the largest thuja in Lithuania, measuring approximately 19.5 meters in height and 12 meters in crown width. This impressive tree is unique not only in Lithuania but also in Europe, with a taller thuja known only in Switzerland. While its exact age cannot be determined due to its bifurcated trunk, it is believed that the Great Thuja of Kintai was planted between 1902 and 1912, during the construction of the nearby forestry office.
Despite its uncertain age, the tree has become both a natural monument and a symbol of the Kintai landscape, attracting locals and tourists alike.
