The Kybartai Pedestrian Bridge, built in 1996, is the second-longest in Lithuania, surpassed only by a longer viaduct constructed in Klaipėda in 2011. The bridge serves as a convenient way to cross the railway and is also a popular observation point. It offers a picturesque panorama, including the customs area, the surroundings of Kybartai, and even the Kaliningrad region.
Before the war, a German-built bridge stood in this location, highlighting Kybartai's historical significance. Today, the bridge attracts visitors not only for its functionality but also for its breathtaking views and historical associations.
