In July 1941, at the beginning of the Nazi occupation, Jewish men and Soviet activists were detained at the Raudondvaris Manor and later executed by German soldiers. The killings took place near the manor, by anti-tank trenches. In total, approximately 400 people, including Jewish men, Soviet activists, women, and children, were murdered. These events reflect the horrific history of the Holocaust in Lithuania.
