Kazys Bradūnas, a Lithuanian poet and publicist, is commemorated in Kiršai with a sculptural composition featuring symbolic gates unveiled in 2014. Folk artist Raimundas Blažaitis created this memorial to honor the poet, whose homeland was destroyed during the war. In his poetry, Bradūnas wrote: "They buried my homeland alive, / Covered it with rubble, with ashes..." These words are carved into the wood. Today, "Bradūnynė" has become a luminous place with a restored cross and other symbols of respect, preserved by local residents and the poet's daughter.
