The wooden Church of St. Archangel Michael in Tabariškės is one of the oldest churches in the Šalčininkai district, built in 1770 on the initiative of Mykolas Skarbek-Važinskis. Carmelite monks were settled near the church, overseeing a school, a hospital, and a shelter for the poor. The church houses valuable works of art, such as a portrait of A. Važinskis, baroque altars, reliquaries, and a 19th-century bell. This is an important cultural and religious monument that attracts visitors with its history and artistic value.
