The Stakų Conglomerate Lumps are a unique geological natural heritage site located in the Šalčininkai district, Poškoniai municipality, near Stakų village. This site is distinguished by two large conglomerate lumps formed from cemented sand and gravel. The larger lump is crescent-shaped, about 17 meters long, 3 meters wide, and 1.5 meters high, while the smaller one is rectangular, 6 meters long, 5 meters wide, and 0.7 meters high. These lumps are situated on a forested hill, easily accessible by following a gravel road from the main road, with installed signposts and an informational board. The Stakų Conglomerate Lumps were declared a state-protected geological monument in 2005. This site is not only a geological object but also a tourist attraction offering the opportunity to explore Lithuania’s unique geological heritage. Nearby, visitors can also find the Stakų Oak and Stakų Barrow Cemetery, which further enrich the experience.
