The Sūdėnai Stone with a Basin is a mysterious historical landmark located on the banks of the Kulšė River, along the road to Old Įpiltis. The stone is shaped and rounded, with a flat-bottomed basin carved into its center. This geological monument attracts attention not only for its unique shape but also for the legends surrounding it.

It is said that this could have been a pagan altar used for rituals. Other stories speak of serfdom times, when the landowners of Laukžemė supposedly punished serfs who were no longer able to work here. The stone remains a meeting point of history and myth, captivating both tourists and history enthusiasts.
