In the picturesque Minija River valley, surrounded by a pine forest, stands a unique burial site dating back to the 2nd to 13th centuries. This historical location served different communities at various times. In the southern part of the cemetery, the old burial grounds of Raguviškiai village were active from the 16th century until the early 20th century, also known as the Plague Graves. This area is marked by a small chapel, commemorating the past and honoring the deceased.
In the northern part of the cemetery, the evangelical Lutheran cemetery of Mišučiai village was established, further reflecting the multicultural past of the area. This corner of the valley is not only a place of history but also a harmonious blend of nature, inviting visitors to explore the region’s rich past.
