Built in 1903, the Priekulė Evangelical Lutheran House is a significant cultural heritage site, which was solemnly consecrated, becoming an important gathering place for the community. The project was funded with a sum of 7000 marks, raised from state and private sponsors, allowing the acquisition of a harmonium—a necessary instrument for the liturgy of that time.
Before the opening of the Catholic church in Priekulė, the Evangelical Lutheran House also served as a venue for Catholic services, demonstrating the unity and tolerance of the religious community. The aftermath of World War II forced the community to part with the old church, but in 1957, the activities of the new church began in this historic building, continuing the traditions of light and faith.
