The only observation tower in the Kretinga district, located in Kalnalis, invites visitors to enjoy the views of the Salantas River valley from a height of 15 meters. From the tower, you can see the Salantai Church, Imbarė Hillfort, Žemaitukai horses, and cows grazing in the fields. The view from above can be complemented by a walk along the educational trail, which stretches from the tower to the legendary Imbarė Hillfort. The trail is approximately half a kilometer long, with the first landmark being the Church of St. Laurentius. As you walk along the trail, you can enjoy the birds, plants, and fresh air of the Salantas valley. This route offers an excellent opportunity to explore the landscape of the Kretinga district.
