A monumental cross stands at the Katkus homestead in Sausdravai Village, honoring Juozapas Katkus (1918–1950), leader of the Kardo Unit of the Žemaičiai District, Mykolas Katkus (1921–1948), a member of the unit’s staff, their mother Ona Katkienė, and partisan supporters Antanas Katkus, Magdalena Katkienė, and Barbora Katkutė. This site symbolizes the struggle for Lithuania's freedom and commemorates the exiles and political prisoners who lived here.
The cross serves not only as a memorial but also as an important part of Lithuania’s history, reminding visitors of the sacrifices made by partisans and their significance in the fight for independence.
