In the town of Truskava, Kėdainiai district, stands the impressive Church of the Holy Spirit, whose history dates back to 1794. The current church building, constructed between 1989 and 1998, is a masterpiece of architecture by Alfredas Paulauskas. This three-nave basilica-style church is renowned for its remarkable design, unique stained glass windows The Way of the Cross (by Simas Gutauskas), stunning ceiling vaults, and the sculpture Blessing Christ by Kęstutis Patamsis. A highlight of the church is the E. F. Walcker organ, installed in 2018 and brought from Germany.
Next to the church, visitors can explore a chamotte pillar commemorating the parish’s jubilee, a cross marked with the year “1904,” and a sculpture park. Truskava is a place where history meets culture, inviting you to discover and be inspired.
