The Pilsupiai Exposure, located in the Pilsupiai village within the Krakes region, is a notable formation on the bank of the Šušvė River. Due to the construction of the Angiriai dam, a significant part of the exposure is now submerged. This exposure features vertically stratified moraine layers, which are important for glaciology studies, offering detailed insights into glacial mechanisms. Included in the list of geological natural sites in 1974, the exposure was recognized as a monument of national importance in 1985 and has been a state-protected natural monument since 2000.
