Located in the Lazdijai region, the Ethnographic Pranas Dzūkas Homestead is the museum's largest branch, showcasing the genuine environment of a Dzūkija village from the early 20th century. The complex consists of six buildings: a residential house, a granary, a barn, a blacksmith workshop, and two utility buildings. One of the utility buildings hosts the village amateur theater "Sodžius," and houses significant exhibits such as oil pressing equipment, shingle-making devices, threshers, and other historically valuable items.
Established in 1972 by Algirdas Savulis in Delnica village, between Šeštokai
and Birutė, the homestead became a cultural center for the area. Its location, set away from main roads yet easily accessible, is ideal for educational programs, excursions, and celebrations. In 2004, it was officially integrated into the Lazdijai Regional Museum as a branch, enhancing its educational and touristic appeal.
Despite its regional affiliation, the Ethnographic Pranas Dzūkas Homestead exemplifies how past life can be preserved and presented to future generations. It is a place where young people can learn about traditional life, and older generations can reminisce about their youth.
