The Rumšaičiai burial site, often called Švedkapiai, is located on the left bank of the Pragulba stream, approximately 450 meters northeast of the Telšiai–Skuodas road. The burial ground occupies an area of about 33x15 meters, bordered by the eastern slope that reaches the stream's bank and the surrounding fields. At this site, archaeologists have found weapons, brass rings, coins, leather belts, and buckles. More than 75% of the southern part of the burial site has been excavated to a depth of 3 meters, and the southeastern part has been dug up with potato harrows. Two fir trees grow on the eastern side, and locals recount that Swedish soldiers, who were attacked and annihilated by the Samogitians, might have been buried here. On October 29, 1992, the Rumšaičiai burial site was granted the status of a registered object (unique code 3996).
