Vyžuonos Cemetery is an important cultural and historical site where notable individuals are laid to rest, including writer Bronius Radzevičius (1940–1980), poet and literary critic Antanas Masionis (1941–1974), and book courier Antanas Radzevičius (who passed away in 1937). The cemetery also honors the memory of partisans from the Vyžuonos parish— in 1992, folk artist and wood sculptor Stasys Karanauskas created a post with the image of the Caretaker. The cemetery's monuments date back to 1881, and its gates, featuring small chapels and the sculpture "Christ Carrying the Cross," erected in 1888, are listed in the Register of Cultural Heritage. Near the cemetery, there is also a memorial stone dedicated to those who fought and fell in battle.
