Paberžė has long been known as an important pilgrimage site, largely due to the work of the renowned Capuchin friar Algirdas Mykolas Dobrovolskis, better known as Father Stanislovas. His sermons and wisdom attracted people from all over Lithuania who sought spiritual peace and inspiration. Today, the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the barn, and the rectory preserve many of Father Stanislovas's collected liturgical and household items, which he referred to as "treasures." The church, built in 1787 by local craftsmen, houses numerous sacred artifacts, including crosses by Vincas Svirskis and a hand-carved wooden altar.

In addition to its religious heritage, Paberžė is also home to the only museum in Lithuania dedicated to the 1863 uprising, located in the former Šilingas manor. To preserve the cultural and natural heritage of this region, the Paberžė Landscape Reserve was established, encompassing the valleys of the Liaudė and Nykys streams. This site is an important part of Lithuania's history and culture, attracting both pilgrims and tourists interested in exploring the unique heritage of the country.
