The village of Buivydžiai, located in the heart of the eldership and having become a parish center, has proudly displayed its coat of arms since 2012. The stag depicted on the coat of arms symbolizes the surrounding forests, while the red color reflects the residents' fervor, courage, and passion for the ideals of freedom and faith. The coat of arms also features St. George's Church, emphasizing the spirituality of the Buivydžiai community. The village's uniqueness is highlighted by two architectural gems: the impressive St. George's Church and the St. Florian's Chapel, located in the churchyard. The church's architecture, distinguished by its light masonry and octagonal plan, delights the eye with its uniqueness and architectural elegance. Together with the chapel, it forms a unique architectural complex recognized as a state cultural heritage site. In the late 18th century, Mykolas Radziševskis initiated the construction of these sacred buildings, establishing the parish of St. George and enhancing the landscape with masterful architecture. part of the St. George parish, is known for its annual indulgences, drawing believers from across the country. The chapel serves as a cultural point, attracting worshippers nationwide. The surroundings of Buivydžiai are rich with numerous archaeological sites. The Rėva Hillfort and other historical locations testify to the ancient way of life and culture in this region. The honor of St. George is significant in the culture of Buivydžiai and the broader region, reflecting the spirit of the patron saint and warrior. St. George's Church, as a sacred object, symbolizes the values and history of this saint. St. Florian's Chapel, standing beside the church, is distinguished by its pyramid-shaped architecture and is an important religious and cultural object, reminding us of the history of this family and community. The contribution of the Tatar community to Lithuania's history and culture is incredibly significant, and the mosque in the village of Forty Tatars is a living testament to this, reflecting the presence of Islamic religion and culture in this country since the time of Vytautas the Great.
