In Biržai, there stands a monument dedicated to Stanislovas Dagilis, a prominent cultural advocate and renowned translator of Adam Mickiewicz's poem Konrad Wallenrod. The monument, erected in 1923 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of his birth, is notable for its monumental presence. The bust of Stanislovas Dagilis, sculpted by Parisian artist Gronskienė, is mounted on polished black granite crafted by Mackevičius from Kaunas. Though modest in design, the monument conveys deep respect for this esteemed cultural figure, who passed away in Biržai in 1915.
