The Visaginas City Festival in 2022 invited residents and visitors to rediscover the city's spaces, including those that might initially seem unattractive. A special focus of the festival was the "Visagos Wall Fiesta" mural festival, which became a unique cultural event for the city, attracting artists from various fields. The event brought together creative personalities such as Marija Tiurina, Darius Jonas Janonis, the Arts Residence "Taškas," and Vladimir Ionov. They transformed the exterior walls of the former school into impressive murals, bringing new life and color to the city's environment.
During this festival, the artists not only adorned the city with unique frescoes but also demonstrated how art can transform everyday spaces, give them new meaning, and inspire the local community. Visaginas became a canvas where new ideas and aesthetic visions were expressed, fostering creativity and cultural dialogue.
