Nestled on the shores of Sartai Lake, the Sartai Lake Observation Tower offers visitors a chance to admire the stunning lake from above and challenge their fear of heights. Privately funded, this tower features a 33-meter-high covered observation deck. While its architecture might be simple, the experience it offers is anything but. Climbing the narrow, steep spiral staircase, visitors can feel the thrill and test their limits. For those who find the height daunting, there are four intermediate observation platforms to take a break and enjoy the view. The top platform, complete with a bench and an informational stand about the Sartai Regional Park, awaits those who make it to the summit. Built in 2006 by UAB "Rokiškio sūris,"
the 36-meter-high tower is a remarkable structure. As the name suggests, the Sartai Lake Observation Tower provides breathtaking views of Sartai Lake, Lithuania's fourth-largest lake. Formed thousands of years ago by retreating glaciers, the lake branches out like a tree, boasting the longest shoreline in the country. From the tower, visitors can also see one of the seven islands within the lake, making it a perfect spot for nature enthusiasts and photographers. With keywords like Sartai Lake Observation Tower, stunning lake views, challenge fear of heights, intermediate observation platforms, Sartai Regional Park, and breathtaking views, this location is a must-visit for anyone exploring the natural beauty of Lithuania.
