The Likalaukiai Hillfort, also known as Astravai Hillfort or Sypsala, dates back to the 1st millennium. It is located near the confluence of the Pyvesa and Didžprūdis rivers, close to Likalaukiai and Astravai villages. The site, once disturbed by plowing, is now fallow, with its rampart adorned by birch trees and shrubs.

Exploratory research was conducted in 1969 by the Institute of History. Recognized for its cultural value, the hillfort was added to the Cultural Heritage Register in 1997 and declared a protected site in 2005.

Visitors can explore this archaeological site, which offers a unique glimpse into Lithuania's past. The Likalaukiai Hillfort is an excellent destination for history enthusiasts and cultural heritage tourists, combining historical significance with natural beauty.
