Kazys Šimonis Park is named after the renowned local painter and graphic artist Kazys Šimonis. This park, characterized by its oak, pine, and birch plantings, is an excellent place for relaxation and active recreation. The park features a football stadium, and Kazys Šimonis Street runs through it.

The southern part of the park, also known as Račiupys Park, is home to the Račiupys stream. A small pond was formed by damming the stream, with a sculpture-fountain "Baltų pasaulio medis" (The Tree of the Baltic World) by sculptor Henrikas Orakauskas standing in the middle of the pond. This sculpture, unveiled in 2005, can be accessed via a bridge and is one of the most popular attractions in Kupiškis.
