Lavariškiai Hillfort, along with its settlement and burial mounds, is located in Aukštadvaris eldership. It can be reached by turning right off the Trakai-Prienai road at Lavariškiai. The hillfort is also known as Fire Hill and Napoleon's Hat Hillfort, and it is often confused with Lepelioniai Hillfort, which is only 7 km away from Lavariškiai Hillfort. Excavations have revealed that the hillfort was used from the 4th to the 14th century. To the east of the hillfort are the remains of an ancient settlement, which were investigated in 1998-1999. Clay artifacts were found there. About 0.7 km south of the hillfort is a burial mound site. Only 17 burial mounds have survived to this day, most of them damaged. Their mounds are 6-10 meters in diameter and up to 0.7 meters high, with bases surrounded by stone circles or ditches.
