Since the 15th century, Jurbarkas has been a royal estate. In the early 19th century, the new owner of the estate, Prince Platon Zubov, built stylish palaces here. Today, the estate's park buildings house cultural institutions. The former Orthodox church, which was set up in a renovated vodka warehouse, now serves as an exhibition and concert hall, hosting art exhibitions and concerts.
