The chapel-mausoleum of the Bortkevičius family stands in the Zuikai village cemetery in Ignalina district, about 5 km southeast of Ignalina and 0.7 km west of the 102 road, Vilnius-Švenčionys-Zarasai.

The chapel has been renovated and is a stylistic architectural structure with a rectangular plan and open walls made of plastered masonry. The walls and columns are embedded with memorial plaques bearing the names and dates of the buried (in Polish).

The Bortkevičius family owned the Kazokinė estate. Zuikai village belonged to the Kazokinė estate, which was managed by the landowner Edmund Bortkevičius. After the death of his son Jonukas, the father built a stylish classical chapel in the Zuikai cemetery. The landowner's parents were buried in front of the chapel, while he, his wife, mother-in-law, deceased children, and steward were interred in the crypt beneath the chapel.
