Located 7 km southeast of Tverai, this high hillfort with steep slopes is believed to have been the site of one of the Tverai land castles. A house was built a few dozen meters from the hillfort during the interwar period, and its owners dug a cellar into the hillfort slope to store food. Today, several families live in this house, and the cellar is now used as a barn. Nearby stands a monument commemorating the people killed by bourgeois nationalists in 1948. The hillfort and settlement are declared state archaeological monuments of national significance.
