This unique hillfort, strategically located between Visalaukė and Dubingiai, attracts history enthusiasts with its distinctive shape and history, dating back to the beginning of the first millennium. Its rectangular format, north-south orientation, and dimensions - 50 meters long and 10 meters wide - emphasize its architectural uniqueness.

The dominant feature of the site is an impressive elevation at its western end, rising up to two meters high and 30 meters wide, giving the area a dramatic contour reminiscent of an ancient rampart. The dramatic slopes, ranging from 10 to 12 meters in height, further highlight the grandeur of the hillfort.

interesting is the fact that the northern side of the hillfort has been shaped by landslides and streams over the centuries, while agricultural activities have left their marks on the surface of this historical site. Renowned for its historical significance and unique natural setting, this hillfort is easily accessible from the Visalaukė-Dubingiai road, just 300 meters from the road, where visitors are greeted by a vegetated hill hiding the secrets of history. We invite you to visit and experience the magic of this site, which is not only an important archaeological landmark but also a great place to enjoy nature and the Lithuanian landscape.
