Gerduvėnai Hill Fort in Klaipėda District is a mysterious and lesser-known place to visit in Lithuania, located near the Minija area on the left bank of the Gerdaujė River. Although visible from the highway, it is not easy to reach, which gives this historic hill fort in Lithuania a true sense of adventure. Its steep slopes, rising up to 35 meters, attract hikers and history lovers. At the top lies a large oval plateau, while traces of ancient ditches, ramparts, and a small forecourt can still be seen on the southeastern edge. Local legends about strange sounds and an old man appearing at midnight add a mystical atmosphere. Nearby remains of an ancient settlement and burial site reveal the historical importance of this unique location.
