In the center of Liepāja, at the corner of K. Valdemārs and Peldu streets, a mural called “Skaņu vīrs” is painted on a building wall. The work was created by artists Dainis Rudens and Ēriks Caune. The impressive figure of a man symbolizes the city’s sounds and the spirit of music. The artwork has become one of Liepāja’s most striking murals and is part of the city’s mural route. “Skaņu vīrs” reflects Liepāja’s close ties to music and culture, reinforcing its title as Latvia’s music capital, while also attracting visitors in search of unique urban art.
