On the left bank of the Daugava River, atop the steep slope of the Kegums Hydropower Plant opposite Anduli, stands a well-preserved German Army concrete firing point from World War I. Located about 1.2 km east of a small stream, it is hidden in a forested area and can mainly be spotted from the reservoir side. This fortification was part of an extensive German defensive line running along the left bank of the Daugava. As it sits on private land, the best view is from a boat leaving Kegums HPP.
