Educational Trail in Dievo Krėslas Forest with Partisan Bunker

Dievo Krėslas Forest in Telšiai District offers a ~5 km trail showcasing post-war partisan history. Visitors see a restored bunker used by Šatrija Unit fighters, memorial crosses with names, a small chapel, and a monument to Samogitian partisans. The forest recalls 1947–1949 battles when the MGB attacked the camp. This site preserves the memory of Lithuania’s freedom struggle and cultural heritage.
