The Uue-Virtsu Church of the Nativity of Christ, consecrated in 1889, served for decades as the spiritual center of the local parish. This historicist-eclectic style sanctuary, designed by architect K. Nyman, remained active until 1977. Today, only historical ruins remain, echoing the faith and community of the past. Nearby, the parish house is still active and gathers local worshippers. This is an authentic historical site worth visiting for those exploring Estonia’s religious heritage.
