In Pärnu’s seaside park, next to the Kuursaal, sits a bronze sculpture of Raimond Valgre – a tribute to the famous Estonian composer who brought fame to the city with his music in the 1930s. The sculpture was created by Rait Pärg, and nearby, his most beloved melodies softly play – “Pärnu Ballad,” “The Bluebird,” “Saaremaa Waltz,” and more.
This is one of the most romantic spots in Pärnu, where you can sit beside the musician and immerse yourself in a nostalgic world of melodies. Every summer, the concert “Tribute to Valgre” draws music and culture lovers from all over Estonia.
