The Lydia Koidula Monument, unveiled in 1929 in Pärnu, honors the renowned poet, playwright, and national awakening figure. The sculpture was created by Amandus Adamson and is known as his final work. Koidula is depicted seated and thoughtful – as if inviting reflection on the spiritual foundations of the Estonian nation. Located in Koidula Park, the monument is one of Estonia’s most significant symbols of cultural memory.
