Located in Dubrovina Park, Daugavpils, this historic memorial honors Russian officers and Soviet soldiers who fought in World War II. The site symbolically commemorates those who died in the 1944 battles for the city.
Seven Soviet Army soldiers are also buried at the memorial. The composition features a marble wall inscribed with the words: "Eternal glory to the soldiers who died in battle. For the liberation of the Motherland."
