The Lithuanian Sea Museum's Old Fishing Boat Exhibition offers a chance to view some of the museum's largest exhibits, including the famous fishing trawler "Dubingiai." Built in 1961 at the Klaipėda shipyard, this vessel could catch up to 30 tons of fish in a single voyage. The exhibition also features the "PTB-7167" trawl boat and the small fishing trawler "Kolyma." Additionally, the museum proudly showcases a traditional Curonian Lagoon fishing boat – a kurėnas – which participates in scientific and international expeditions. This exhibition is a great opportunity to explore maritime history and traditional fishing methods.
