The sculpture "The Snake" was created as a "visual propaganda element on the theme of workplace safety," depicting a treacherous metal snake coiled around a tin cup. The artwork was formed by a craftsman using a tarred wooden beam and covered with colored metals, and it was originally placed near a pharmacy. The sculpture was later modified when the tin cup, made by a tinsmith, was replaced with a copper-plated cup to maintain a sense of harmony.
