Upytė St. Charles Borromeo Church is an authentic wooden sanctuary built in 1878, distinguished by elements of folk architecture and Neo-Baroque style. The rectangular building features a three-sided apse, two small towers, and an organ with eight registers. Inside, the church houses three altars: the main altar, adorned with carvings and sculptures, was crafted by Jonas Danauskas, while the side altars were created by Pranas Janulevičius. The church also displays the Stations of the Cross paintings from 1895. The churchyard is enclosed by a stone masonry fence, and the bell tower, built in 1878, holds bells decorated with Latin inscriptions. This cultural heritage site underwent interior restoration in 2007 and exterior restoration in 2013.
