Šiaulėnai Manor, located in Lithuania, has been mentioned since 1492 when it belonged to the Kesgaila family, the Elders of Samogitia. Later, it passed to the Butrimaičiai family and eventually to the Šemeta family. The manor was renowned for its grand wooden staircase, an impressive drawing room, a painted tile stove adorned with coats of arms, and a balcony for musicians.
In 1857, Jonas Šemeta funded the construction of the Šiaulėnai Church. The surviving structures include an orangery, a granary, a wayside shrine, and the ruins of a forge. This unique architectural monument enriches the cultural and historical heritage of the Samogitian region.
