The Spring of Boba’s Garden is a mysterious natural wonder located in the Dzukija National Park, in the village of Margionys, Varėna District. This spring marks the source of Lithuania’s shortest river, the Skroblus. Despite its modest length of just 17.3 km, the river impresses with its water flow, as the spring releases 8 liters of water per second. Visitors can explore the area via a 12.4 km hiking trail featuring wooden footbridges and informational boards, inviting them to discover the breathtaking natural surroundings.
According to legend, local women used to “fetch” children from the spring, and the water was believed to have healing properties. The Spring of Boba’s Garden is easily accessible from Marcinkonys by public transport or forest paths.
