The Fresco "Cultural Figures of Joniškis"

The fresco "Cultural Figures of Joniškis," created in 2014 on the wall of the former "Gintaras" cinema, commemorates prominent people from the Joniškis region: Matas Slančiauskas, Adomas Varna, Marius Katiliškis, Lorensas Harvėjus, and Laimonas Noreika. The fresco was created by artist Andrius Naraškevičius, and the project was initiated by the Joniškis Cultural Center. This location was intentionally chosen, as it is surrounded by key cultural institutions. The artwork has become an important symbol of the city's culture and heritage.
