Nemėžis Manor, located 1 km from the Nemėžis settlement, is an important part of Lithuania's cultural and historical heritage, having been owned by prominent Lithuanian noble families such as the Radziwiłłs, Sapiehas, Chodkiewiczs, and Oginskis. The manor was established in the 18th century, but until the early 19th century, its buildings were wooden. Michał Tyszkiewicz, who acquired the manor in 1828, initiated the construction of the existing buildings between 1840 and 1856, including the main palace, stables, and the office. These buildings form the core of the manor ensemble around a rectangular representative courtyard, which was once surrounded by a brick wall. The estate is also complemented by a wooden barn standing at a distance.

These buildings form the core of the manor ensemble around a rectangular representative courtyard, which was once surrounded by a brick wall. The estate is
also complemented by a wooden barn standing at a distance. Although the manor buildings were privatized in the second half of the 20th century and are currently in poor condition, their historical and cultural value remains unchanged. The construction of the A3 Vilnius–Minsk highway negatively affected the estate's surroundings, destroying historical avenues and reducing the size of the nearby pond. Nemėžis Manor reflects Lithuania's rich history and is a place where various architectural styles and the heritage of noble culture intersect. It is a significant site in our national history, representing the grandeur of the past and the current challenges in heritage preservation.
