On Panerių Street, near the former Jonava Manor, stands a stone memorial dedicated to the memory of murdered partisans. In 2018, to commemorate the centenary of Lithuania's restored independence, a stele featuring the Vytis was erected nearby, symbolizing Lithuania's freedom and statehood.
The monument consists of a tall column bound with allegorical shackles, representing the loss of independence, while its upward-reaching form reflects Lithuania's struggle for freedom. At the top, the Vytis stands as a symbol of the restored independent Lithuania.
