Situated near the Lithuanian-Polish border, the 150-year-old larch grove is a true natural wonder. It is home to over 60 larches, each reaching a height of approximately 30 meters. These trees are unique because their needles turn yellow and fall in autumn, only to sprout soft, light-green needles again in spring. During winter, the larches shed their needles and are adorned with elongated cones that change color and remain on the branches for a long time.
Larches can live up to 600 years, with deep and sturdy roots that help them resist strong winds. The grove has become a haven for birds and is a popular destination for relaxation and nature enthusiasts.
