The Vištytis Boulder, located 1 km from the town of Vištytis, is the sixth-largest glacial erratic in Lithuania. The boulder stands 4 meters high, 5 meters wide, and 7 meters long. At its top, there is a depression known as the "Devil's Footprint," where collected water is believed to have healing properties.
Historically, the boulder served as an altar in the ancient Lithuanian religion. In the 18th century, it was called the Holy Trinity Stone, and in the 19th century, prayers were offered at its site. The local community held the boulder in high regard, and in 1997, a sculpture symbolizing the triumph of good over evil—based on the legend of the stone's origin—was erected in the center of Vištytis. The sculpture was created by A. Sakalauskas.
